Robert Wormald studied Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. He undertook higher surgical training in the UK and Ireland and completed his surgical training in 2012. During his training. he gained a post-graduate Doctorate of Medicine (MD) for two years of research in Thyroid Cancer. He has presented his research Nationally and Internationally and has been published in numerous ENT journals.
He has completed dual fellowship training in Paediatric Otolaryngology at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth and in Head and Neck Cancer at Royal Perth Hospital.
He is Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England He is currently employed as a Consultant Otolaryngologist at two tertiary teaching hospitals and is a key member of the Head and Neck Cancer team. He is happily married with four children.

Mr Wormald’s public appointments are at Fiona Stanley Hospital and is part of the ENT team of the Head & Neck cancer unit.
